“If you or a member of your family sustains a life-changing injury, you need a specialist solicitor who will stop at nothing to give you first-class legal advice, arrange the best possible rehabilitation and secure maximum compensation to help you rebuild your life.”

Tim is a specialist personal injury and medical negligence solicitor with over 34 years of experience in the legal sector. He heads up the team in our Southampton office.

He has a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of personal injury litigation, including catastrophic injuries and fatal injuries. Tim has extensive experience and interest in severe brain and spinal injuries, medical negligence, particularly birth injuries and industrial disease claims, including asbestos-related diseases, such as mesothelioma.

Over the years, Tim has handled highly complex, high-value cases involving multiple experts, where causation has been a particular challenge. Acting predominantly for claimants, he has taken numerous cases to the Court of Appeal and won.

Tim has particular expertise in resolving cases at mediation but is also a skilled litigator taking many cases to Court if necessary.

He has a passion for helping injured people receive the best possible rehabilitation, as early intervention usually gives a much better outcome in the longer term.

Tim has successfully concluded many high profile cases, some being complex and high value and others being important for setting precedent. Tim was involved in the Court of Appeal case of McIntryre v Harland and Wolff (Mesothelioma), Clapham Rail disaster cases and numerous complex marine accident cases.  More recently Tim has helped many injured people and their families to rebuild their lives after suffering significant life-changing injuries.

He also has experience in Court of Protection work and acts as a professional deputy for a number of clients.
