Rhiannon is an Industrial Disease Associate based in our Cardiff office.
Rhiannon started her career in law in 2002 and has over 15 years of experience specialising in industrial disease claims such as asbestos-related conditions and noise-induced hearing loss.
She has a depth of knowledge on both sides of a claim having spent 10 years acting for defendants under instruction from their insurers. This allows her an insight into what makes a successful claim and how to meet these criteria when gathering evidence.
Having recently joined the Novum Law team in Cardiff Rhiannon offers her expertise to clients and their families as they navigate their way through making an industrial disease claim, offering support and empathy at each step of the way.
Throughout her career, she has undertaken a range of industrial disease and personal injury claims and has experience in mesothelioma, work-related stress, repetitive strain injury, occupational cancer, work-related road traffic accidents and manual handling injuries.
Rhiannon specialises in high-value complex claims and is well known for her investigative work which leads to her getting the best results for her clients.
Rhiannon has many years of experience helping people with occupational asthma claims and can help to secure maximum workplace asthma compensation.
Activities and Achievements
In 2017 Rhiannon was appointed as a Paid Assessor for the Law Society’s Occupational Disease Accreditation. She is also a member of APIL.
Outside of work, she is the Team Manager and Welsh Rugby Union Safeguarding Officer for her local rugby team, in charge of fundraising for her local cricket team and is a School Governor. One of her favourite trips abroad is skiing with her family.
