Louise joined Novum Law in 2012 and specialises in helping clients who have suffered serious personal injuries – particularly those with traumatic brain injuries due to road traffic and workplace accidents. The cases she works on are often very complex and involve significant damages.
Louise prides herself on having a warm rapport with her clients and their families. She develops excellent relationships with those who are going through what is, the most distressing time in their lives, and is a lifeline for them and their families. She is committed to ensuring they are fully supported and advised throughout the compensation process.
Louise has extensive experience investigating cases where liability has been denied; most recently having secured a settlement on liability where the Defendant pleaded a novel automatism defence. She has a strong track record of securing substantial compensation payments. She frequently secures funding through encouraging Defendant’s to engage and comply in the Rehabilitation Code and securing early interim payments during the litigation process to pay for specialist rehabilitation, care and support packages to aid her client’s recovery and make their day-to-day lives easier.
She also has experience representing clients against the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) and the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB), both through their uninsured and un-traced driver schemes.
Louise works with highly regarded and respected medicolegal experts and barristers to ensure that her client’s have the best legal team advising them throughout their claim.
