Annabelle qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and is a highly capable and dedicated personal injury specialist who is passionate about helping others who have sustained life-changing injuries.
She understands more than most people the devastation and trauma associated with being seriously injured, because as a young law student, she lost her leg when she was hit by a lorry while out cycling. As a result of what she has been through, Annabelle really understands what it’s like to have your world turned upside down by a catastrophic injury. She is able to help our clients navigate their way through the personal injury compensation process while dealing with all the conflicting emotions involved with coming to terms with a life-changing injury and a ‘new normal’.
As an amputee and a specialist personal injury solicitor with a particular interest in limb loss and amputation claims, she is able to offer people a unique perspective because she has been there and has experience of both sides of the table. You can read more about her personal journey in her blog or watch her tell her story.
Annabelle was recently asked to participate in case management firm Bush & Co’s podcast series ‘The Resilience Toolbox’. In the podcast, Annabelle talks to Helen Jackson, Managing Director at Bush & Co, about her harrowing experience of losing her leg and how she has managed to remain resilient in the face of such a catastrophic and life-changing event.
Annabelle is passionate about encouraging those who have been injured due to other people’s negligence to seek specialist legal advice and pursue compensation. She is hugely driven to always achieve optimum results for her clients and works hard to demystify the compensation process and provide as much help and advice as possible. She says:
“My experience of making my own personal injury claim made me realise the importance of securing compensation and rehabilitation. Compensation is not a windfall. It is about helping someone who has been needlessly injured to recover from those injuries and put their lives back on track.”
