Andy has unrivalled experience dealing with local asbestos related claims in the South West, particularly in Plymouth. These include claims against the Devonport Royal Dockyard, the former Plymouth Docks, Falmouth Dockyard and the South West Electricity Board.
Prior to joining Novum Law, Andy worked as a deputy team leader at Bond Pearce LLP and then as the sole South West asbestos lawyer for Thompsons LLP, both of which he was based in Plymouth. Andy practices from the Novum Law Plymouth office and works solely on asbestos related cases.
Andy’s experience and local knowledge, coupled with his compassionate and thorough approach gives his clients reassurance that he will achieve the best possible result for them.
In addition to dealing with the litigation aspect of asbestos exposure, Andy is also passionate about raising awareness of the conditions that arise as a consequence of exposure to asbestos. He regularly provides lectures and training sessions to Trade Unions, medical professionals and other bodies, explaining the present and continued risk of exposure and the devastating consequences that this can bring; not only to the individual, but to their families too.
