Alan is a Senior Litigation Executive in our Southampton Office.

Alan has a wealth of knowledge in the industrial disease field, with over 35 years experience working as a litigation executive. He spent his early years working in Liverpool initially specialising in Industrial Disease work and has worked for a number of firms in the area developing his skills.

Throughout his time working in law he has worked on many types of cases, including; road traffic accidents, accidents at work, criminal law and clinical negligence. He has significant experience in industrial disease, particularly noise induced hearing loss claims and asbestos-related diseases.

Alan ensures his clients are at the heart of his work, understanding their needs and concerns and making sure they get the best possible result. During his career Alan has been involved in many high-value cases, including a claim for a scaffolder who sustained 95% burns to his body whilst working in a power station.

Outside of the office Alan can be found on the cricket pitch or the golf course. He plays for a local cricket team and also coaches a youth team in his home town of Watford. He is the guitarist for a local cover band and plays at many gigs locally at the weekends.

Alan is a member of APIL. He is currently studying part-time towards his ILEX and LLB Degree at the Liverpool John Moore University. He has been commended for his expertise and had articles published in the Law Society Gazette and the Journal of Personal Injury Law.
