Mr S suffered multiple injuries to both of his arms, legs and back as well as psychological damage. His mobility was significantly impaired and he had great difficulty in using the stairs. His previous solicitors had advised him that the likely value of his case would be in the region of £250,000. Prior to transfer of his case an offer was made by the Defendants for this amount.
