Mr R was 17 years old at at the time of his accident. He suffered a severe brachial plexus injury to his right arm resulting in significant impaired movement and function.
His solicitors had told him his case was likely to be valued in the region of £250,000. His case was transferred to our specialist team and appropriate expert evidence, rehabilitation costs, employment and orthotics evidence were obtained.
Exactly one year after transfer, the case was settled for £875,000, over three times the figure Mr R was advised to accept by his previous solicitors.
