Accounts Clerk – Swindon
Full-time (35 hrs per week) with hybrid working options available.
The finance team produces annual accounts, monthly management accounts, and the reports for our investors, lenders, and management. They help the executive collect the revenue that is due, raise finance from external providers, and ensure everyone (including Experts and the Courts) are paid on time. The finance team helps the executive with budgets and forecasts. By implementing effective financial planning, controls, and efficient systems, the finance team can use their expertise to minimise business risk and ensure optimum growth.
The role of the Accounts Clerk is to provide first-class support role to the Finance Team. The role reports to the Revenue and Cash Manager, but will have regular contact with colleagues across the business to ensure that we keep on top of what has to be paid, and when!
You would be involved in the following:
- Co-ordinating tasks associated with managing Supplier Accounts
- Ensuring a high level of accuracy in processing invoices and maintaining an up to date purchase ledger database
- Assist with other areas such as cashiering, expenses, credit card transactions and VAT
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally gained within a professional services environment, is desirable. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate who can demonstrate they are passionate about process, detail and a ‘right first time’ approach.
