What are the most common farming accidents?
Over 300,000 people in Britain work in the agricultural sector today. Many farmers and farm workers were raised in farming families or communities and are proud of the rewarding work...
We are thrilled to announce that we have a brand-new office launching in Cardiff today (1st July 2019).
It marks our first step into Wales and we couldn’t be more excited about bringing our specialist personal injury and asbestos-related disease expertise to the Welsh capital!
Growing demand for our expert serious personal injury services in the South of England and Wales has prompted our new office opening.
We’ll be located at 28 St Mary Street, in the heart of the city and our lovely new Cardiff office will be led by Associate Legal Director Phill Gower.
Phill brings over 25 years’ experience in serious personal injury and asbestos-related diseases to our Cardiff base. He has secured millions of pounds worth of damages for people from all walks of life over the years.
Phill says: “What marks us out as different to the numerous general law firms in the area is that we focus solely on serious personal injury and asbestos-related disease compensation claims.
“We are passionate about helping and supporting people in Cardiff and throughout Wales, who’ve suffered life-changing injuries due to the mistakes of others or been diagnosed with serious illnesses as a result of being wrongfully exposed to asbestos.”
Working alongside Phill will be expert asbestos disease solicitor, Rebecca Ryan, who has worked in the legal sector for over 15 years and qualified as a solicitor specialising in industrial disease in 2013.
Rebecca comments: “I’m delighted to be a part of Novum Law’s new team in Cardiff, helping to provide expert legal help to people when they need it the most.
“Sadly, many people are diagnosed with asbestos-related diseases in Wales due to the country’s strong industrial heritage. In the past, asbestos was widely used in power stations, steel works, dockyards and chemical plants and unfortunately we are now seeing the results of that devastating legacy.
“Our key focus will be helping and supporting as many people affected by asbestos –related diseases and serious injuries and illnesses as possible to seek the maximum compensation they deserve.”
