National Mesothelioma Day was marked at Saltram House, Plymouth on 1st July.
This annual event is attended throughout the UK in order to remember those who have suffered from the terminal asbestos related condition of mesothelioma, and also to raise awareness of the condition and the dangers of asbestos dust.
The event in Plymouth began with a cream Tea, followed by a dove release at 11am which took place at the commemorative tree in the beautiful grounds of Saltram House. Families of mesothelioma victims were able to place flowers on the tree in order to remember their loved ones.
The event was organised by the South West Mesothelioma group and Novum Law was pleased to sponsor the dove release.
