The latest edition of the highly respected Chambers and Partners Guide to the Legal Profession has just been published and specialist, Swindon-based personal injury law firm, Novum Law, has been given the highest possible (band 1) ranking for its exceptional personal injury expertise.

Its expert personal injury lawyers are viewed by the highly respected ‘legal bible’ as at the very top of their profession and Novum Law is once again the highest ranked personal injury law firm in Swindon and the surrounding area.

The guide describes Novum Law as having a ‘healthy presence across the South West, offering notable strength in industrial disease cases and catastrophic injury claims’. The firm was ‘particularly highlighted for its experience in complex neurological injuries’ and its ‘considerable expertise in assisting children who have sustained severe injuries’. Novum Law’s cases of note include ‘spinal injury cases and those related to asbestos’.

Special mention was given to Novum Law specialist personal injury lawyers including Neil Elliott and Anna Cole, named as leading professionals for their outstanding work, retaining their band 1 rankings.

Novum Law director Neil Elliott was singled out for his expertise on head injury claims, as well as operating on spinal injury cases. A market commentator noted: “He’s held in high regard by practitioners in the field of traumatic brain injury claims.”

Anna Cole, also a director of Novum Law, won praise for her client-friendly approach with one source noting that “clients really seem to like her, she’s quite frank and will tell things how they are but in a nice way and in a way that the clients understand.” She has particular experience acting on insurance bureau claims, employers’ liability and road traffic accidents (RTAs).

Novum Law’s thriving office in Southampton, which focuses on asbestos-related industrial disease claims, also performed extremely well in this year’s Chambers, retaining its excellent band 2 ranking. It was highlighted for its expertise in helping clients diagnosed with the asbestos-related cancer, mesothelioma and for providing regular training events and cooperating with local asbestos support initiatives.

The Southampton team was praised for being ‘tenacious and keeping on at defendants to find a solution and ensuring clients are well-informed.’ Additional sources commended the lawyers’ organisational skills, saying that “they are very much on top of their documents and caseloads, and are always fully prepared.”

Novum Law director Lynn Yeates, who’s based in Southampton, was highlighted as ‘an asbestos expert.’ Clients also stated that “she is very good, and does the job she promises.”

Tim Robinson, finance director of Novum Law, gave his reaction to the latest Chambers announcements and said: “Once again we are thrilled with the very highest accolade in this year’s Chambers Guide. To be independently reviewed as the best specialist personal injury law firm in the area for another year is a significant achievement and we are extremely proud of the help, advice and support we give all our clients. Our strong performance is testament to the professionalism, expertise and dedication of our talented teams. We will continue to strive to be the best and look forward to much more success in the future.”
